5 ways to cleaning your face and stop acne
Acne strikes people from adolescence through middle age, and while there isn’t a cure for pimples, zits and blackheads, they can be controlled. The problem? Most people don’t properly wash their face. They either over-exfoliate with harsh scrubbing, or dry it out using extreme cleansing soaps— both of which cause the face to overcompensate and produce even more oil, which in turn can clog pores. This creates an unending cycle that can cause long-term skin damage and premature aging lines.
Fortunately there is a much gentler way to properly clean the skin in five simple steps.
1. Wash your hands with antibacterial soap so that you don’t transfer acne-causing bacteria to your face.
2. Splash lukewarm water on your face to prep the skin for cleansing. Hot water can damage the skin and cause your face to begin oil production.
Nationwide power outage looms as electricity workers give FG 7-days to meet ASUU's Legitimate demands
In solidarity with the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, the National Union of Electricity Employees, NUEE, has given the Federal Government seven days to resolve the ongoing strike or face a total shut down of electricity facilities in the country.
This latest show of solidarity is coming on the heels of similar warnings given by the Nigerian union of Teachers, NUT, and the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG, which have both given indication that they will down tools if the strike is not resolved soon enough.
NUEE, while justifying its decision to cause nationwide blackout in solidarity with the striking varsity lecturers, said that it could no longer sit back and watch those in positions of authority destroy the future of young Nigerians, who have remained at home for weeks on account of the Federal Government’s refusal to meet the legitimate demands by ASUU.

Etisalat Pays Mary J. Blige 5 Million Dollars To Perform In Nigeria
Few days after an amazing performance that rocked Eko Hotel & Suites, sources from Lagos have revealed how much American singer Mary J Blige got paid just for one night visit.
Insiders claim Nigeria’s telecommunication giant Etisalat paid the R & B singer .5 million dollars for her performance at the Sisters with soul concert.
With N15, 000 being the minimum gate fee for the show, the crowd moderation intended by the organisers was achieved. But the entire space in the popular Expo Center, Eko Hotel and Suites appeared oversized for the elitist show, featuring American Queen of ‘Hip-hop soul’; Mary J. Blige who stormed Lagos last Friday for the Etisalat’s sponsored ‘Sisters with Soul’ concert.
The multiple-award winner and multi-platinum selling artiste took the audience back in time, dolling out her most loved songs from the 90s up until her most recent releases.
