RIM targets youths with BlackBerry Q5; links ‘NotJustOk’ for online contest

The new product, according to the mobile phone maker is now available from authorized carriers and retailers in the country.

It is available in black and white color models, and offers a powerful and unique mobile computing experience with its cutting-edge BlackBerry 10 functionality.

The BlackBerry Q5 device is designed with youths in mind — varied colours, high mega-pixel camera, and the BBM Screen-share and BBM video features. RIM teams up with NotJustOk for online contest
Meanwhile, BlackBerry has teamed up with popular online platform, NotJustOk to the “BlackBerry Q5 5×5” contest to Nigeria. With this development, Nigerians now have the chance to vote for some of their favourite musicians and artistes’ voice notes and decide which artiste gets to have five brand new BlackBerry Q5 devices to give to their fans. According to BlackBerry, the contest will feature popular artists including Tolu “Toolz” Oniru, Terry tha Rapper , Ajebutter22 , Bez and ChiGul. Accordingly, each, artist’s voice notes will be hosted on the NotJustOk website and their fans will have the opportunity to vote for them on NotJustOk and decide which artiste gets to win five devices to give out to their fans.
