Chart-topping couple Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks have managed to
balance their careers and their relationship with one simple rule.
"We have this two-week rule, which is amazing," Jason said on Thursday's
Access Hollywood Live. "We never let two weeks pass by without seeing
each other and that really works for us."
Despite rumors of an engagement for the couple who have been dating for
more than a year, the 23-year-old singer told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover
that he hasn't been shopping for a ring - yet.
"We're not engaged as of yet, you know, when the time is right," he explained.
One person who wants to see the pair walk down the aisle is Jason's grandmother.
"My grandmother is 91 and listen to what she tells me, she says, 'My
only wish before I die is to see you and Jordan get married,'" he said.
Jason's mom is also a big fan of her son's girlfriend.
"My mother is in absolute love with [Jordin]," the "Other Side" singer continued.
Following Jason's 2012 neck injury, where he broke his vertebrae while
rehearsing for his tour, Jordin was by side during the ordeal.
"She was awesome actually. That was the time period where we really got
close. Beforehand, I wasn't really looking for a relationship," he told
Billy and Kit. "She literally stopped everything that she was doing and
flew down to Miami and took care of me, it was amazing."
